The camp is located at a distance of 40 kms from Jaisalmer and is easy to drive to and locate. Our tent was sturdy and spacious and the bathroom was well maintained and extremely clean, as was the linen and the bed sheets. This came as a …

Stayed in the camp with my family for 2 days. Wonderful experience with great traditional food. They have good camp cottages with heaters. Staffs are very friendly and took good care of us. The camp management arranged for camel ride and also helped with other activities like paragliding in the dune area. It is great place for an adventurous getaway. Would love to visit again.

Good place, good staff, manager was also very helpful. Food was tasty with various options. Restaurant staff specially Himmat Singh was helpful. The camp includes a camel ride in you price. But it should be for long time. 5 min camel ride and 15 min Jeep ride to reach there. They can improve this, also need more cultural activity. Had only few dance and songs.

I would 100% suggest Winds desert camp for anyone who want to experience the rich Rajasthan culture and Thar desert. The camp includes a camel ride and jeep safari as a complimentary. The staff are honest and kind. They explain the schedule of events as soon as we checked in. My father had left a very important package at the administration office. We thought we had lost it but thankfully the staff had kept it inside.We are grateful and happy. The schedule of events may change depending on the sunset but usually they take you on a jeep ride (more like a open truck with seats, but it's worth the ride)! They stop at a camel camp from where you hop on the camel and travel to the Thar desert dunes. You can engage in other activities inside the desert at your own cost. After sunset you can choose to get back by walk or on the camel. From there the the jeep takes you back to the hotel. There will be welcome thilak from the camp. We rested for a few hours and went to the cultural fest where dancers and singers performed. They provide you with a few food starters during the program and you can have dinner after the performance. Overall our experience was really great. And my whole family liked it. The staff were polite and understanding of our needs. They also provide heaters which is an icing on the cupcake to prevent the room from extreme cold!

Absolutely loved the desert campsite! The serene beauty of the surroundings, coupled with the well-organized facilities, cultural night with folk dance and music made for a perfect getaway. The starlit night sky was a breathtaking sight. Kudos to the staff for their warm hospitality and attention to detail. Can't wait to return!"

Staff comprising Bahadur, Himmat and Sushil were excellent in service and warmth. They were the highlight of my stay. The camp itself gives a great experience of staying in the desert. Food was fantastic as well. I had issues with water supply in my tent which was never resolved to my satisfaction and that was not acceptable from a place like this. Evening folk performances in the open air with bonfire, snacks and drinks amidst the winter chill was truly spectacular. The clear view of the night sky above added to the charm. Overall, I will recommend coming here for a stay in the Jaisalmer desert.

Clean tents, good food and excellent hospitality. The jeep and camel safari along with the cultural performance do add to the overall authentic desert experience. Definitely recommend to those traveling to Jaisalmer for a memorable desert getaway.

Great experience in a truly desertic area. Everything has been very well organized, including the musical and dance performed before dinner.|My tent had a lot of spiace and both bedroom and toilette were super clean.|The tea after the camel …
